MOUNTAIN GOAT

Season: August-October

 

 

A strong population of mountain goats are found in the Skeena regions. Goats live in very rough terrain. Record book Billies are harvested in the 9"-10" class with a large body size. Hunters should be in good physical condition and be prepared to climb.

GRIZZLY & BLACK BEAR

Grizzly and Black Bear Fall Season: September-October

Spring Season: May-June

 

 

The costal grizzly bear found in the Skeena region feed in salmon bearing streams, are large in size and dark color. Conservative harvests contribute to high success.

CANADIAN MOOSE

Season: September-October

 

The area offers prime habitat for Canadian Moose. Best time for moose hunting are when the rut starts in the middle of september until third week of october.

 

 

 

WOLF

Season: August-June

 

Wolves are found everywhere in the area, but they are one of the most difficult trophies to harvest.

 

 

 

WOLVERINE

Season: September-February

 

Wolverines are the largest member of the weasel family in Canada and occur in all habitats, a very underestimated hunting trophy.
